Umesh Rege

Umesh is a veteran investment banker having more than 14 years' experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, structured and corporate finance. He has worked across New York, London, China, Japan, and the Middle East. He has held senior positions with leading organizations such as Lazard and BDA. He has completed several notable equity, debt and advisory transactions for private and public sector organizations. The deals cover a gamut of industries – technology, pharmaceuticals, cement, industrials, manufacturing, textiles, infrastructure, oil & gas, and power. Umesh is an engineering graduate from VJTI and holds a degree in management.

Sandesh Desai

Sandesh is a senior advisor in VBD and a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over 25 years of experience in handling diverse fields such as Taxation, Assurance, Finance and Management consultancy. He specialises in handling difficult taxation cases with out-of-box solutions. During the last two and half decades he has handled business issues of clients in software, media, entertainment, technology and realty. He has advised corporates on several restructuring and other finance related matters. He is also a partner in an all India Assurance Firm and also founding partner in a Management Consultancy Company and an Advisor in a digital marketing training Institute.
